About Nikita Delyukov
I'm a photographer and a journalist living in Kyiv, Ukraine.
In my photography I focus on performing arts, circus, theatre, and sports.
Together with a friend Max Sidorenko we founded an online media about circus, CircusLife (see circuslife.com.ua).
We mostly work in Ukraine and we do reports from different circus shows and events, we visit circus studios, schools and academies, talk and shoot podcasts with artists, students, teachers, choreographers and directors of shows, and other people in the circus industry. Spirit, strength and will of the circus people inspire me, and I try to convey the thrill and beauty of the circus art in my photos.
In October 2024 we will hold a photo exhibition "Ukrainian Circus During the War" in Berlin, Germany. The exhibition will contain photos and stories of Ukrainian artists who keep doing their art during the war with Russia.
We plan to expand our attention into the theatre industry.
In general I like to find beauty in everything around me and I make photos whenever I hope to make an interesting picture. It can be reportage, street photo, portraits, fashion, travel, architecture or landscape. Some of these photos are presented on this website.
